SISTERHOOD IN MOTHERHOOD

Moms don't just need self-care. We need a village.

Is this you?

We might not all be the same, but if you resonate with any of these, I get it.

  • Your coffee's been reheated three times and it's not even 10am.

  • 5pm hits and the witching hour begins: dinner, homework, meltdowns (theirs and yours).

  • You love your kids fiercely, and sometimes it feels like too much.

Sisterhood in Motherhood Circle

A morning with moms who get it.

What happens during a circle

A circle is a small group of moms doing life together.

We sit down with coffee (hot, for once), we connect and talk about what's going on, whether it's potty training, meal planning or a mini teaching.

Then we roll up our sleeves and get something done. This could be your dog insurance papers, research about school enrollment or opening the letters that started to pile up.
The circle is designed so you don't have to choose between getting things done and community and connection.

That is part of doing life together. That is how community is built.

About Nitu

Hi, I'm Nicola, mom of five (not so little anymore), with ADHD and a household full of beautifully different brains.

For years I built my own self-care that actually worked, rooted in practice, not platitudes. I had my rhythms and routines dialed in. I knew when to rest, when to push, when to say no, and how to flow through a day. It made a real difference. And still, things fell through the cracks. I was doing it all alone.

What finally changed things was community: people coming into my home, helping, showing up.

That's when I realized moms don't just need self-care. We need a village.

That's what Nitu circles are: moms doing life together, so no one has to carry it all by herself.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you might be wondering before your first circle.

When and where do circles meet?

Thursdays, 9:30–11am
Worshipwalk Church, 3310 W. Magnolia Blvd., Burbank, CA 91505

Burbank is our first circle. It won't be the last.

Who is it for?

Moms with young kids. One child or seven, first baby or fifth, you're welcome here.

Can I bring my kids?

Yes, please! Every circle has a space for kids to play, so you can actually sit down, drink your coffee and talk.

What happens at a circle?

We start with coffee and a short reset to help everyone settle in. Then there's time to talk, and time to get something done that's been on your list, with other moms beside you.

Does it cost anything?

The Burbank circle is free. Just come.

Do I need to be part of the church?

Not at all. The church graciously hosts us, and every mom is welcome, whatever she believes.

What happens in December?

We take a break in December and start fresh in January. Leave your info below and I'll let you know when we're back.

Is there a circle near me?

Not yet, but there could be. Leave your info below with your city, and I'll let you know when a circle starts near you.

How do I become a circle leader?

Circles are led by moms a little further down the road, who remember the hard years and want to walk alongside the moms in them now. If that's you, I'd love to talk. I'll train you, walk with you, and help you start a circle where you live.
